Some of our satisfied customers

With our particular speciality in installation and on-going maintenance, we’ve established strong relationships with our clients – they trust us to take care of their homes, businesses and buildings. Here’s what some of them have to say:

Contemporary House Build – Mr and Mrs Brown, Pukekohe

Mr and Mrs Brown chose us to install the complex electronic systems in their architecturally-designed, 400sqm home.

The comprehensive home automation system used Clipsal C-Bus and included 40 individually controlled lights, with specific lighting scenes for entertainment and security. We also installed multi-room audio-visual equipment and an alarm system, all tied in to the automated C-Bus system.

Designed with aesthetics, the environment, and energy consumption in mind, the system was visually stunning and environmentally friendly.

The clients are extremely happy and proud of their new house. We continue to maintain their home automation system and provide other services as needed.

John Fillmore Contracting Ltd – stress-free data and electrical installation

When they moved into their new premises John Fillmore Contracting called on us to design and install their electrical and data systems.

Bringing the new buildings up to standard was a complex, multi-stage job. We worked closely with the client to create their new working environment, from offices to the boardroom. We rewired power and data systems, revamped lighting in the extensive warehouse and provided new circuitry and power supplies.

The project was completed with a minimum of stress and disruption and we continue to work with JFC on maintenance, emergency repairs, and other services.

Tonkin and Taylor

International environmental and engineering consultants Tonkin and Taylor chose Thompson Electrical to design and install electronics and data when they moved into new, larger premises.

This involved rationalising and reconfiguring existing services on the three floors Tonkin and Taylor were to occupy. We then wired and installed over five hundred new data and power outlets, installed new lighting, and upgraded existing lights.

Thompson also managed the transition from old to new offices, working closely with the IT department to ensure a seamless and efficient move.

We continue to carry out installation and maintenance work with Tonkin and Taylor at their Auckland and Hamilton branches.
